Fabulous Ceramics
My aim with my ceramic work is to create pieces of art that are functional and beautiful, to center
pieces that turn heads.
I use high fire glaze so the colours are more muted and organic looking. Nature is where a lot of my inspiration comes from. I also use glass in most of my pieces this adds a different dimention to the colours combining the rustic look of the clay with the crystalized sparkle of the melted glass.
I love to mix my ceramic art at home with my mum's paintings (she is an established artist in the U.K.) and with other artists work. Mixing textures and mediums is what makes your world creative and inspired.
